Palarong Pinoy Fun Run

For Filipinos who were born, raised, and experienced their childhood before the digital age, the words "online", "mobile", "tablet", "cellphone", and etc. were all unheard. But it was also these generations who all learned about competition and sportsmanship in the games we used to play on the streets. Neighbors used to be close-knit even if they are not blood-related, there were no strangers among the kids, getting sweaty and bruises are all normal and part of our childhood!

What about a chance to bring back those memories and show the younger generation what it was like playing piko or sipa during recess; exercise agility, strength and flexibility with hula-hoop, limbo rock, luksong-tinik; or even play by teams with patintero?

Once in our lifetime, a fun run comes, giving you the satisfaction of running as well as participating in game stops that can let your inner batang pinoy have his larong pinoy for the day!

Palarong Pinoy Fun Run will re-instill our old ways of "gaming" by reliving the traditional pinoy fun games along the route.

The rules of engagement are quite clear and simple:

• Every kilometer ends with a Pinoy game. Play that game to proceed running your race.
• Failure to play the game means a consequence is required. You can only move on by doing a burpee or jumping jack.

Finish your race unto the festival area with a haven of Pinoy delicacies and more gaming!
