WFP National Ambassador KC Concepcion Visits Families Affected by Typhoon Pablo

United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) National Ambassador Against Hunger KC Concepcion (second from left) recently visited families affected by Typhoon Pablo who are staying at the evacuation centers in the municipalities of Compostela and New Bataan in Compostela Valley province. During her visit, KC also distributed relief packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), which include complementary rations of WFP high-energy biscuits and iron-fortified rice. With her were DSWD XI Regional Director Priscilla Nidea-Razon (leftmost) and WFP Philippines Representative and Country Director Stephen Anderson (second from right).

Prior to the distribution, KC interacted with internally displaced people and assured them that government, WFP, and many organizations are working around the clock to help them get back on their feet.
