Diadora Footwear Technology Evolution

Diadora is proud to introduce the evolutionary footwear technology of Axeler WI5 which has been developed to help increase athlete’s performance by enahncing footwear cushioning, flexibility, and stability. The Diadora Axeler WI5™ evolution combines the Axeler String™ and Axeler Propulsion™ located respectively in the heel and forefoot area to improve footwear functionality.

Diadora integrated the Axeler Technology™ to all running footwear to increase running performance and comfort. These technologies add the flexible nature to the shoe to naturally move with you as your foot propels forward. And with a fully tractioned sole, you can run on any surface with steady pace. This has been engineered to ensure the high stability of the foot together with exceptional bending capacity and perfect weight distribution to accompany and follow the foot throughout its every natural movement. The Axeler String™ technology, on the other hand aids in shock absorption and limits midsole torsion movement from side to side enhancing stability; and Axeler Propulsion is made of Pebax™, a material with an elevated elastic memory that maintains its characteristic over time to ensure maximum comfort and flexibility.

Axeler WI5 technology consist of six components:

Microbe barrier found in the “Upper”for anti-bacterial treatment;
Elaston™ located in the midsole and in-sole area to make midsoles and insoles highly elastic while maintaining its characteristic for a long time;
Double Action found in the outsole to guarantee maximum impact absorption and enhance flexibility and distribution of pressure in the forefoot area;
Flexoft™ light weight material that improves shock absorption and better propulsion in the forefoot area;
Duratech 5000™ found on the outsole area to improve higher wear resistance;
CCB material component located in the mid section of the outsole to ensure torsional instability in the arch support area while giving the shoe the lightness and stability without altering shock absorption.
