NBA Fit-Air 21 Run 2011

Everybody loves basketball, and almost everyone is now becoming hooked-up with running. Combine these two and you'll get another kind of multisport event -- a Run-ballthon perhaps? But no, the NBA Fit-Air21 run will not let you play basketball and run afterwards or vice versa.

NBA FIT is the league's global comprehensive health and wellness program that encourages physical activity and healthy living for children and families through programs and events. The program for this year has started on July 25, and will end by August 7, 2011 with their NBA Fit-Air21 Fun Run. The two-week program aims to educate individuals and families on the physical, mental and emotional benefits of healthy living, as well as motivating and inspiring kids and adults to live healthier lives through a variety of events and activities.

This year is their second annual NBA Fit fun run in the country, and is being presented by Air21 and co-organized by NBA and RunRio. Approximately 6,000 runners are expected to participate in the event.
