"What is Zonta?"
"Rat race in the Philippines?"
Yes there will be a R.A.T. race coming to the hills of McKinley, Taguig. But no, it is not a race of house rats, road rats, mountain rats, and you will not even see Mickey mouse there. And to answer, here's some info courtesy of Sir Jay Em:
Zonta is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide. The Zonta Club of Ayala Makati began its advocacy in helping women since 1989 through educational and feeding programs, livelihood / entrepreneurial training as well as environmental / health literacy campaigns for women in impoverished communities nationwide.
Run Against Trafficking is a race for the awareness of human trafficking in the Philippines -- the modern day slavery. It is also a fun run / fundraiser that will benefit both the Visayan Forum Foundation, Inc., and the educational programs and services of Zonta Makati Ayala.
